Nissan Magnite
The 2024 Magnite has been launched without any change in the entry level pricing. This is a facelifted mode with updates to the design, added features and a better value tag. Engine options remain as before and the Magnite continues to rival the Renault Kiger and the Tata Punch

Expert Verdict on Magnite
Nissan has chosen to play safe with the updated Magnite, sticking to the formula that has worked well throughout these years. The additional equipment on the inside increases its appeal, especially given the price it comes at. The fact that Nissan has priced it the same as the older car shows how aggressive it is willing to play in this segment. However, the new Magnite certainly deserved more, especially in terms of aesthetics, since it looks and feels the same as the outgoing car does.

Pros & Cons of Nissan Magnite
Nissan Magnite Detailed Review
- The new Magnite's design is more or less the same as before, and while familiarity in this segment is alright, we feel the new Magnite looks a bit too similar to the outgoing car.
- The car's headlights remain the same. However, the front bumper and fog lamps have received a mild redesign. The grille also gets a more prominent border, giving it a more imposing look.
- Not much has changed when it comes to the profile of the car, except for the new design of the 16-inch diamond-cut alloy rims. However, it now gets dual-tone paint options, along with a new Sunrise Copper Orange paint scheme.
- The tail lights are also familiar from the outgoing car, with the rear bumper only receiving a slight redesign, and the addition of a chrome strip on the tailgate.
Magnite body specifications:
Wheel Size | R16 |
Seating Capacity | 5 seaters |
Ground Clearance | 205 mm |
Boot Space | 336 liters |
- The interiors of the new Magnite are not very different from the outgoing car, as it retains the same dashboard. The base Visia, Visia+, Acenta, and the N-Connecta trims receive single-tone black upholstery.
- The Tekna trim comes with Luxurious Light Grey upholstery, with orange stitching on the dashboard and on the steering wheel. This trim is just one below the range-topping Tekna+ trim.
- The 7-inch updated digital instrument cluster is available from the N-Connecta trim onwards.
- The range-topping Tekna+ trim comes with dual-tone brownish orange leatherette upholstery, with the dashboard swathed in brownish orange leatherette, along with brownish orange door inserts
- The new Magnite gets features such as a new 9-inch touch screen infotainment system,
with wireless Android Auto, wired Apple CarPlay, a duaa 10-litre cooled glovebox, a
360-degree camera, wireless smartphone charging, a 4-speaker 3D sound system from
Arkamys, an air purifier, and proximity lock/unlock among other things. - The new Magnite also gets a unique 4-colour ambient lighting system with a memory
function, which will remember your preferred lighting settings based on driver profiles,
and it also gets a dashcam as well.

- The new Magnite continues with the same two engine options under its hood; the

5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. - The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 98.63bhp and 160Nm of torque, paired to a
5-speed manual transmission. With the CVT, the torque output goes down to 152Nm
