It gets a sharp front-end with twin LED headlamps and a short visor, an aerodynamic design language, thanks to its fully-faired body with some attractive graphics on the body panels. Talking about colour variants on offer, it is available in three colour shades. They are Racing Blue, Thunder Grey and Dark Knight.
Top-notch Performance - The Yamaha R15 V3 offers an exhilarating riding experience. It is powered by a BS6 compliant 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 18.6 PS of maximum power at 10000 RPM and 14.1 Nm of peak torque at 8500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and it also gets Yamaha's VVA or Variable Valve Actuation technology. This VVA system ensures that a good amount of power and torque is present throughout the entire rev range.
Loads of Features - The new 2021 Yamaha R15 V3 is a very feature-loaded motorcycle. It gets a slip and assist clutch as standard which is a very useful safety feature. Also, it features an all-digital instrument cluster that is loaded with a ton of information. The cluster displays a digital speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, twin trip meters and even a gear position indicator.
Good Hardware - The new R15 V3 packs in decent hardware components. It gets telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. For braking duties, it gets disc brakes at either end with a dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) as standard. The R15 V3 runs on 17-inch tubeless tyres and its rear tyre is a radial unit that offers superb grip and also aids in handling characteristics of the motorcycle.
Pricing - The Yamaha R15 V3 is one of the most affordable fully-faired bikes in India with good performance. It is currently priced in India between Rs. 1.49 lakhs - Rs. 1.51 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
CONS
Ergonomics - Now, if we talk about the cons, so the first negative factor of the R15 V3 is its committed riding position. The R15 V3 is not your regular daily sports bike as it has committed ergonomics and most people can't ride it for a long duration of time.
Build Quality - The R15 V1 and R15 V2 had very impressive build quality but the R15 V3 has some fit and finish issues which isn't a good thing.

Pillion Seat Comfort - The R15 V3 is a proper sports motorcycle and the pillion seat comfort isn't good at all. The pillion seat is raised very high, it lacks cushioning and doesn't have proper grab rails too.
Headlight Performance - The Yamaha R15 V3 gets all-LED headlights and LED taillights. The LED headlights look very good but their performance isn't satisfying at night.
