2023 KIA Seltos Facelift Mid-Variant Details
As seen in the photos, the spotted car looks like a mid-variant. Why so? Because it misses out on the dual exhausts and the ADAS sensors at the front. However, the spotted vehicles are showroom-ready and it is seen as completely undisguised. Parked aside from the road, it is draped in a white colour and black roof combination. Moreover, the alloy wheels are also visible and they look like dual-tone machined alloys. This means that the mid-versions of Seltos will get these fancy new alloy wheels.
Speaking of the visible changes, the front design is more or less the same. However, it uses new LED headlights, a revised front bumper, & a new KIA logo. At the rear, it is equipped with Carens-inspired LED taillights. These lights are connected via a light bar over the boot lid. The rear bumper has also been revised in design. The interiors of the new Seltos will also be similar to the current model. But, it'll get updated features like a new digital instrument console connected with the infotainment in a single unit. This design is also seen on the new Verna. Additionally, features like a panoramic sunroof, new leather upholstery, etc., will be equipped on it.
KIA is suspected to retain the current engine options on the facelift as well. The spied-on model here is probably either an HTX or HTK trim version. The upcoming Seltos will get 1.5-lt NA petrol, 1.5-lt turbo-petrol, & 1.5-lt turbo-diesel engine options. The transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed IMT automatic, & a 7-speed DCT automatic.
Verdict
The new Seltos is scheduled to launch on July 4 in India. With the new design and more features, its prices will be higher than the current model. Some of the current rivals of Seltos are - Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, & MG Astor. We'll be driving it later in July & present to you a complete detailed review of the facelift model.
