2024 Maruti Swift Dimensions
The upcoming Swift is set to have dimensions of 3,860 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width, 1,500 mm in height, and a 2,450 mm wheelbase. When we compare these dimensions to the current generation Swift, we can observe that the upcoming generation will be 45 mm longer and 15 mm wider. However, it will be 30 mm shorter in height. Notably, the wheelbase remains consistent between both generations, suggesting a similar amount of boot space can be expected.
The most recent version of the Swift showcases a refreshed appearance, introducing new design elements. While it preserves its iconic Swift essence, the car now boasts a collection of contemporary aesthetics. Towards the front, you'll observe a sleeker profile, enhanced by sharp corner-placed headlamps. The grille has been revamped, adopting a larger and more rounded form. Notably, traditional door handles have replaced the previous pillar-mounted ones. The interior has also been redesigned, featuring a layout similar to that of the Baleno and Fronx.

2024 Maruti Swift Engine Specifications
The upcoming Swift will be equipped with the new Z12 engine, a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder powerplant that replaces the current 1.2-liter 4-cylinder K-series engine. The 3-cylinder design is expected to reduce the vehicle's weight, resulting in enhanced performance and reduced emissions. For global markets, there's the possibility of the Swift featuring a 48V strong hybrid system. However, the Indian version is likely to retain a conventional internal combustion engine.
Verdict
The 2024 Swift will come with a new engine, and if this hybrid powerplant is introduced in the Indian market, it has the potential to draw a substantial number of buyers to the Swift. The Maruti Swift is already a highly popular hatchback in India, and with these enhancements, it is poised to become even more enticing to prospective customers.
