Maruti Suzuki Swift is all set to get a much-awaited update on 9 May in the Indian market. The new-gen Swift will come with a lot of changes and a new engine which will replace the existing model and the K-Series engine. A few days back the base model of the upcoming Swift was spotted at a dealer yard and now the mid-spec VXI variant of the Maruti Suzuki Swift has been spotted. Maruti Suzuki Swift VXI Variant
The upcoming Swift has started reaching the dealership yard which indicates that the brand will start deliveries soon after the launch of the new model. The newly spotted model of the Swift was seen with body-colored bumpers and door handles, a blacked-out front grille, a new projector headlamp setup, and a chrome strip in place of the DRLs.
The side profile gets blacked out steel wheels which appear to be 14-inch in size and they will be adorned by wheel covers, and ORVM-mounted turn indicators. The rear gets a similar profile as the top-spec variant with an LED tail lamp. The rear of the mid-spec variant will get rear parking sensors and it will not get rear washer and wiper.
On the inside, the new Swift VXI variant will get a blacked-out dashboard with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, we can expect it to support wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This variant will also get steering-mounted controls, automatic climate control, all four power windows, and a MID with analog dials on the instrument console, among other features.

Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Swift Engine Specifications
The upcoming Maruti Swift will get a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder engine which will produce 82 PS of power. This Z-series engine will replace the current K-Series 4-cylinder engine. Moreover, this engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
Verdict
2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift will be a significant update over the current generation. This time the brand has made the Swift more feature loaded and more efficient with the new engine. However, in order to make it efficient the engine performance is reduced but most of the prospective buyers will be happy with the efficiency numbers. The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift will continue to compete with the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS & Tata Tiago.
