Exterior Styling
The new Hyundai Kona carries forward the updated design language of the Hyundai cars. Sporting a slim bar of light around the creasing bonnet and muscular design, it demands attention. The MG 4 with its crossover-inspired design looks sporty, and fluid and doesn't feel any less appealing. Hyundai is yet to reveal the exact specs and features list, but there is some speculation out there. It is expected to feature a 360-degree setup of cameras, a wireless charging pad, and the connected car features that the Hyundai is offering in its updated versions. MG 4, in its European model, comes tech loaded, with Wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, ventilated and powered seats, heated steering wheels, and 6 airbags as well.
Interior
The Interior design statement of the New Gen Hyundai Kona is being called the "Versatile Living Space".It is fitted with dual 12.3-inch screen displays running in continuity, with one acting as the infotainment screen and the other as the instrument cluster. We can see a sunroof as well, which, however, is not panoramic. The company has built up the EV platform design offering better practicality.
MG 4 has a lot to offer as well. Its interior is rather minimalistic and looks clean and refreshing. The instrument cluster is a 7-inch screen while the infotainment is a 10.25 -inch touchscreen display. Its wireless charging pad and the gear knob sit on a floating slab just below the smartly integrated AC vents in the center. The two-spoke steering wheel with a Flatout bottom compliments it further.
Hyundai Kona vs MG 4 - Powertrain
There is no information officially conveyed by the company regarding the technical spec sheet of the Kona 2023 but it is speculated that it will see a similar powertrain and battery to that of their sub-brand Kia Nero EV. The Nero EV comes with a 64.8 kWh battery in the international market.
MG 4 in the European model comes with a 64kW battery with 150kW max power. It produces a max torque of 250 Nm and clocks 0-100 km in just 7.9 seconds. But we will have to wait till the official launches take place for absolute clarity.

Verdict -Hyundai has not spilled the beans on the Specs and the tech loadings of the new Gen Kona as of now, but it should see a bigger battery with an updated features list to keep up with its contemporaries.
