- Mahindra BE 05 & BE 05 Rall-E edition showcased for the first time in India
- Mahindra introduced the new electric vehicle brand BE in August of last year
- The BE range won't have ICE versions and will be based on the Born Electric platform
For the first time in India, Mahindra & Mahindra Automotive unveiled the BE brand electric vehicles. BE 05, BE 07 , and BE 09 concept cars were displayed when Mahindra introduced the BE brand in August of last year. The company has now made its debut in India with the BE 05 at Hyderabad's first Formula e race. To make the event more exciting the brand has also showcased t he BE 05 Rall-E. In 2025, the BE line of cars will be launched on the market.

Mahindra BE 05
The BE 05, which has dimensions of 4370 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, 1635 mm in height, and 2775 mm in wheelbase, will be the entry-level model for the BE brand. It will utilise the same INGLO platform and have a striking design that is inspired by racing. The launch is slated to take place in October 2025.
Regarding the interior of the upcoming BE 05, the new EV platform is prepared to accommodate all emerging technologies, including an edge-to-edge screen, a heads-up display with augmented reality functionality, and 5G network connectivity.

Mahindra BE 05 Rall-E
The BE 05 Rall-E version is based on the standard BE 05 but features certain upgrades to give it the appearance of a rally-ready car. Auxiliary lights, a roof carrier with a spare wheel and jerry cans, a circular headlamp, large chunky steel rimmed tyres, and other rally-inspired modifications are added to the front.
The passenger compartment of BE 05 and BE 05 RALL E will include structural cages. Three load routes and a multi-piece dash panel with reinforcement will improve the frontal design of the car's body. Furthermore, its EV platform is future-proofed up to L2+ autonomy thanks to the 5 Radar-1 Vision ADAS architecture.
