Maruti Jimny 5-Door SUV Walkaround Details
Speaking of the display, Maruti is holding on a tour of Jimny. The SUV will be displayed from 16 March to 6 May at various dealerships in Delhi/NCR. Each showroom will get two days of display time. However, this has started through one of the oldest dealers of Maruti i.e. Pascos Gurgaon. We visited the showroom just to find out that it has already been buffed around with loads of audience. People have taken off from their work just to get a close glimpse of it. Additionally, bookings have crossed the 20,000 mark as per Nexa dealership.
Meanwhile, the displayed model was an automatic top-spec variant. Mind you, it is going to be offered in two different gearbox options. One will be a 5-speed manual, whilst the second will be a 4-speed torque converter gearbox. Moreover, it'll be offered in two variants as well. Both of these variants will only be differentiated via features. Additionally, the Suzuki Allgrip 4X4 system is going to be a standard fitment on the Jimny.
Verdict
The tour of Jimny indicates that Maruti is gathering responses from potential customers. This will later on prove beneficial in deciding its pricing. As we know, Mahindra Thar is its top rival and it was recently introduced in an RWD version. The RWD Thar pricing has been a hoot. Hence, Maruti Jimny pricing will decide its fate in the Indian market. Tell us what you think about the upcoming Jimny SUV by commenting below.
