- Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Sport imagined via a design render.
- Blacked-out design elements, chunky wheels and an array of sporty treatments throughout.
- Let's see what the Grand Vitara Sport will look like if Maruti decides to bring one to India.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited launched the Grand Vitara in the domestic market in 2022 and all thanks to its boxy design as well as butch stance, the mid-size SUV is hugely popular amongst Indian car buyers. Recently, at the 2023 Auto Expo, the Indo-Japanese brand also showcased a Matte Edition of the four-wheeler, finished in Grey colour. In terms of design, the Grand Vitara is quite favourable for modifications. In line with this, we have come across a sporty design render of the SUV, via an Instagram profile 'bimbledesigns'. Let's have a look at this unique design render of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Sport.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Sport: Design Details
To begin with, the Grand Vitara Sport gets a dual-tone paint scheme, wherein the roof, A-pillars and ORVMs have been finished in matt black colour, while the C pillar is partially blacked out. Upfront, the grille has been given a satin black treatment, flanked by a familiar pair of LED DRLs. Another major area of change is the headlamp unit which now gets considerably larger housing and that too has been blacked out. Courtesy of the larger housing, a new 5-unit inverted-L shaped DRLs have been added along with a smoked-out finish for the main lamp.
Moving towards the sides, the SUV has been fitted with chunky alloy wheels, shod with a wide low profile set of tyres. Apart from this, the door handles are also blacked out. Moving towards the back, the rear profile remains more or less the same, minus the dark grey skid plate.
Verdict: The design render of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Sport looks quite smashing and these changes are easily achievable in real life as well. Maruti Suzuki may take some inspiration from these kinds of designs and introduce a special sporty edition, sometime in future. Till that happens, the enthusiasts out there have surely got a clue and we may spot some modified Grand Vitara SUVs on the Indian roads.
