These include a 1.0-litre and a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, available with both 5-speed manual and automatic transmissions. Additionally, there is a 1.0-litre petrol+CNG engine variant that is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The company-fitted CNG kit ensures impressive fuel efficiency, delivering 34.05 km/kg in CNG mode.
The 1.2-liter engine delivers a good performance, generating 88 bhp of power and 113 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the 1.0-liter engine offers a balanced performance with 66 bhp of power and 89 Nm of torque. Both engines are available with the choice of a 5-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission. For those opting for the 1.0-liter CNG powertrain, it provides a power output of 52 bhp and maximum torque of 82 Nm. This variant exclusively comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The new WagonR uses high tensile steel grades and precisely placed crumple zones to efficiently absorb collision energy. It is constructed on the durable 5th generation HEARTECT platform. The WagonR is outfitted with a variety of safety features, including the Hill-Hold feature in the AGS (Auto Gear Shift) edition, the Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD). These features improve security and make driving more secure.
