The MY23 WagonR from Maruti Suzuki is expected to be launched in the coming weeks. The new WagonR will have an RDE-compliant engine standard as well as new features. A new document detailing the upcoming WagonR's specifications has appeared online, and as a result, we may anticipate that the brand will soon release the car's pricing.

MY23 Maruti WagonR
The upcoming WagonR will have the same 1.0-liter and 1.2-liter petrol engine options, according to the newly leaked documents. Moreover, a 1.0-litre petrol+CNG engine will be offered. T he 1.2-liter engine generates 88 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque, the 1.0-liter engine generates 66 bhp and 89 Nm. A 5-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission option are available for these engines. The 1.0-litre CNG powertrain generates 52 bhp of power and 82 Nm of maximum. The only transmission option for this is a 5-speed manual.
Although the brand hasn't altered the powertrains, they will now adhere to the new standards, and we can expect improvements in fuel efficiency numbers with the new update. Moreover, there will be four primary trims of the MY23 WagonR, namely LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+. However, the 1.0-liter petrol version will only be offered with the CNG in the LXI and VXI trims. All of WagonR's petrol engines will now come standard with the ISS (Idle Start/Stop System) to improve the feature offering.

The hatchback's other features should remain the same, but we can expect a price increase across all models. Currently, the Maruti WagonR prices range from Rs. 5.53 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs. 7.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
