Maruti Suzuki Tour S
Last year, around 1.6 lakh units of the Maruti Dzire were sold, of which approximately 60,000 units were of the Tour S, according to Partho Banerjee, Head of Sales and Marketing of the company. The Tour S is available only with a factory-fitted CNG option, featuring the 1.2L K-Series Dual Jet VVT engine that produces 88 hp and 113 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Talking about the fuel efficiency, the petrol engine achieves only 23.15 kmpl, while the CNG version delivers 32.12 km/kg, making it ideal for commercial purposes.
On the features front, the Tour S is essentially the base variant, with features kept to a minimum. It only offers AC and powered windows, with everything else being basic.

Verdict
With the Tour S continuing to use the 3rd generation Dzire, Maruti plans to position the latest 4th generation Dzire separately as a more premium product. Additionally, it no longer resembles the Swift, on which it was originally based. This is another significant step by the automaker to differentiate their best-selling product.
