Earlier spy shots offered a sneak peek at the Swift's front design, showcasing new headlights with integrated L-shaped DRLs. The spy shot also revealed a fresh grille design and a shift in the placement of rear door handles, opting for a more conventional position rather than the C-pillar. Additionally, the car sports new alloys, a departure from the current design.
While we haven't seen the interior images yet, the new model is expected to feature a redesigned dashboard hosting a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The three-spoke steering wheel and AC controls borrowed from the Fronx are anticipated. Inside, there will be wireless phone charging, cruise control, and keyless entry with push-button start/stop.
In terms of safety, Hyundai recently announced a significant upgrade by making 6 airbags standard across all models, a move likely to influence other brands. The upcoming Swift may follow suit, enhancing safety with 6 airbags, ESC, ABS with EBD, and a standard reverse parking camera with parking sensors.
