Skoda India has launched the much-awaited Octavia vRS at a price of Rs 36 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The performance-oriented sedan now packs more power and it will be brought in via full import. The bookings for the same will start on March 1, 2020.
Skoda will only bring 200 units of the Octavia vRS to the Indian market and will be booked online only. The sedan is a Euro-spec model which means there will be no changes to the car as such. It will carry forward with the low ground clearance but that won't be an issue for the enthusiasts.
Skoda Octavia vRS packs a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine which makes a whopping 245 bhp on tap and a maximum torque of 370 Nm. Compared to the previous model, this one makes 15 bhp and 20 Nm more. Transmission option sticks to a 7-speed DSG gearbox.

0-100 km/h sprint can be achieved in a mere 6.6 seconds as compared to the 6.8 seconds in the earlier version. Top speed, however, sticks to 250 km.h only.
Sharing more details on the design of the sedan then it continues with the lowered suspension and gets 18-inch alloy wheels. It also gets LED Headlights, C-shaped LED taillights, LED Daytime Running Lights, steel exhaust tips and also boot spoiler. Furthermore, the car gets blacked-out treatment on some part which makes it an aggressive-looking sedan.

The interiors of the sedan will continue with the red-stitching on the upholstery and get all-black interiors. A large infotainment system which hosts connectivity features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be on the table too.
