Tata Motors recently introduced Dark Editions of its best-selling models like Nexon, Nexon EV, Harrier, and Altroz. Tata has done a great job in introducing the new paint scheme to keep its cars in the limelight. These special versions have been off to a good start. The case in the point here is the Tata Nexon Dark Edition, which commands a waiting period of 2.5 months.

Tata Nexon is already four years old in the market and has grabbed a decent share of the sales pie. With the aforementioned special variant, the sub-compact SUV comes equipped with signature dark elements in the exterior and interior. Meanwhile, the sonic silver beltline on the body adds a tasteful contrast to the paint scheme.
The Tata Nexon has been available with two engine options. The 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder Revotron petrol engine produces 120 PS of maximum power and 170 Nm of peak torque, while the 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder Revotorq diesel engine produces 110 PS of maximum power and 260 Nm of peak torque. Both the variants are available with two transmission options - 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT.

Tata Nexon measures 3993mm in length, 1811mm in width and comes with a height of 1606mm. The compact SUV has a boot space of 350-litres along with a wheelbase of 2498mm. It carries a coupe-inspired aerodynamic shape that combines the practicality of an SUV with the look of a sports car.
Tata Nexon has a high-strength steel structure that can bear impact energy to protect its passengers at the time of an unfortunate collision. Due to its good build and safety features, the Maruti Brezza-rival managed to score a 5-star Global NCAP rating and was declared as the first made-in-India car to receive this score. To further protect the occupant, the sub-4-metre SUV has been equipped with dual front airbags, Electronic Traction Control, Roll-Over Mitigation, Emergency Brake Assist. Hill Hold Control, Brake Disc Wiping and more.
Nexon even has an intelligently packed cabin with an attractive-looking dashboard that is built from premium material and textures. The sub-compact SUV even offers an electronic sunroof on the higher variants, while all models come with a digital instrument cluster.

The Tata Nexon is priced between Rs 7.28 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) to Rs 11.29 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). It goes on to rival the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
