Toyota Announces The Entry Of All-New Facelift Camry Hybrid

Toyota Kirloskar Motors on Wednesday announced the entry of the all-new facelift Camry Hybrid at an ex-showroom price of Rs 41.1 lakh (pan India). The company had launched the eighth-generation Camry Hybrid in India in 2019 and since then the sedan has now received an update. Toyota has tweaked the overall design of the sedan and has equipped it with upgraded technology and enhanced features. 

Glancing at the exterior of the upcoming Camry Hybrid it sports a newly designed front bumper and grille with chrome inserts to make it look more appealing. The sedan now offers 18-inch newly designed alloy-wheels in dark grey metallic shade, whereas the rear profile of the sedan remains unchanged. 

New Toyota Camry Hybrid

The existing model that was available in the market was also next level but lacked some features and creature comforts. Considering this, Toyota has tweaked the interior of the sedan and has installed a 9-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with AndroidAuto and Apple CarPlay integrated with a nine-speaker surround sound system from JBL. The sedan also offers a new interior ornamentation with black colored wood effect film.

Metal Stream Metallic, a new colour shade is available with the new Facelift Camry Hybrid along with the ones that are already available with the existing model. Toyota Camry Hybrid is a feature-loaded sedan that currently offers features like 10-way electrically adjustable drivers seat, tilt and telescopic steering column with in-built memory, wireless charger, and Heads-Up Display (HUD).

To comfort the rear passengers Toyota has given a touch panel on the rear arm rest that includes functions like AC controls, audio controls, electrically controllable sunshades, and reclining seats that makes the sedan even more luxurious.

Since its introduction in 2013, the Camry Hybrid is well established in the Indian market and is a testament to Toyotas unwavering efforts towards a carbon neutral environment.

The sedan is powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder Hybrid petrol engine combined with a powerful motor generator that can churn out 218PS of maximum power mated to an automatic gearbox. The Camry hybrid has three different ride modes - Eco, Sports, and Normal. Though it is a bigger sedan with a heavy engine still it manages to be a fuel-efficient one due to the smart hybrid technology installed in the car.

Keeping safety in mind, Toyota is offering several safety features like park assist with back guide monitor, nine-SRS airbags, vehicle stability control, Clearance and Back Sonar, traction control system, EPB with brake-hold assist, hill-hold assist, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

Toyota is offering a warranty of eight years or 1.6 lakh kms with its hybrid battery pack installed in Camry. The company has also commenced with the bookings of the new Camry Hybrid. The New Camry Hybrid will be available at Rs. 41,70,000 (ex-showroom, Pan India).
