Toyota India has teased the Urban Cruiser multiple times. As we anticipated, it is a rebadged Vitara Brezza with some nip and tuck to differentiate it from the Brezza. Most of the changes lie on the front as we have redesigned grille which is inspired by the Fortuner and rework fog lamps. The alloy wheels of the Urban Cruiser are also reworked and gives a dual-tone effect. Now we also have details of the variants and features of the Toyota Urban Cruiser.
Toyota will offer the Urban Cruiser in three trims. We don't have the nomenclature details which Toyota will use to name the variants. Even in the base trim, Toyota will offer a good amount of features like push-button start and automatic AC. If we talk about the other features offered in base trim, we get 2-din music system with Bluetooth support, keyless smart entry, steel wheels with wheel caps, steering mounted controls, projector headlights, LED DRLs with turn indicators, LED taillights and chrome front and grille. All the variants of the Toyota Urban Cruiser will be available with both manual and automatic options.

The second variant is the of the Urban Cruiser will offer more features and some improvements aesthetically too. In place of steel wheels, we get 16-inch alloy wheels with black centre caps. The 2 din infotainment is replaced by a 7.0-inch touchscreen system which gets both Android Auto and Apple Car Play. To add an additional layer of convenience, we will also get cruise control in this variant. The dark brown fabric seats will be finished with a honeycomb pattern.
Moving to the top trim of the Urban Cruiser which will be based on the top trim of Vitara Brezza. The top trim will be loaded with all the bells and whistles we get to see in the Vitara Brezza. Features like rain-sensing wipers, electromagnetic IRVM, front LED fog lamps, dual-tone exterior colour options and alloy wheels with a diamond-cut centre cap. Even the base variant of the Urban Crusiee come with standard safety and nothing is compromised. We get dual airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors, speed sensing alarm and seatbelt reminders.

Talking about the engine of the Urban Cruiser, we get the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which produces 105 PS and 138 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission. Toyota will try to price the Urban Cruiser lower than the Vitara Brezza and also offer an improved standard warranty.
