In the month of April, the company has increased the prices of the Yamaha R15 V3 by 1,500 rupees. Last month, even in March this year, the price of the R15 V3 was increased by upto 2,700 rupees. In March 2021, Yamaha even launched a new Metallic Red colour variant for the R15 V3 and it looks really good. The motorcycle gets a two-tone finish of red and black and the blacked-out elements do compliment the overall beauty of the motorcycle.

If we talk about its engine specs, so the Yamaha R15 V3 is powered by a BS6 compliant 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor churns out 18.6 PS of maximum power at 10000 RPM and 14.1 Nm of peak torque at 8500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. It gets Yamaha's VVA or Variable Valve Actuation technology too. This new VVA system on the Yamaha R15 V3 BS6 ensures that a good amount of power and torque is present throughout the entire rev range.
The R15 V3 gets telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. For braking duties, the motorcycle gets disc brakes at either end with a dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) as standard.
