2020 Maruti Suzuki Alto 800: Looks and Colour Options
The Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is a no-nonsense good-looking small family car. Recently, it got a facelift which further enhanced its appeal. The Alto 800 now gets a revised front fascia with a new sleek grille and big Suzuki logo in between. The bumper too has been revised and it now gets a blacked-out mesh-pattern on the front bumper. It gets cute-looking small headlights. The side profile of the car has also been tweaked and it now gets body-coloured mirrors and door handles on the top-spec trim. The Alto 800 rides on 12-inch tyres and it gets a plain and simple rear design. The Alto 800 is offered in six different colour options. These are Silky Silver, Superior White, Uptown Red, Mojito Green, Granite Grey and Cerulean Blue.

2020 Maruti Suzuki Alto 800: Engine and Transmission
The new 2020 Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is powered by a BS6-compliant 796cc, three-cylinder petrol engine. This motor churns out 49 PS of power at 6000 RPM and 69 Nm of torque at 3500 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Alto 800 also gets a bi-fuel variant. This one is factory-fitted with a CNG kit and Maruti calls it S-CNG technology. The CNG variant of the Alto 800 produces 40 PS of power at 6000 RPM and 69 Nm of torque at 3500 RPM. It is also mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The petrol model of the Alto 800 has an ARAI-claimed fuel-efficiency of 22.05 kmpl while the S-CNG model delivers 31.59 kms/kg of CNG.

Maruti Alto 800 is a good family car with decent space on offer and it gets a good amount of features too. India's best-selling family car now even gets a big 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Like all other new Maruti cars, it also gets Suzukis latest SmartPlay Studio Infotainment System which is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The safety features of the Alto 800 include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, high-speed alert system, reverse parking sensors, seat-belt reminders, etc.

The new 2020 Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is available in a total of eight variants. Out of these, six are petrol models while two are bi-fuel/S-CNG variants. The prices of the new 2020 Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 BS6 starts at Rs. 2.94 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 4.36 lakhs. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi.
