Maruti has finally introduced the all-new 2022 Alto K10 in the Indian market at a price of Rs 3.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Made available in four variants - Std, Lxi, Vxi and Vxi Plus, Alto K10 directly rivals the Renault Kwid 1.0L. It is to be believed that Maruti will introduce the CNG variant of the Alto K10 very soon and in this article, we will be sharing everything about this upcoming hatchback.
Mechanical Details
Like the Celerio CNG, the power and torque figures of the Maruti Alto K10 are expected to be the same. The 1.0-litre, three-pot, naturally aspirated motor is expected to generate 56 bhp of power with a peak torque of 82 Nm. It will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission only. The ARAI-certified fuel economy of the CNG version is not out soon, but we expect the figures to stick north of 30 km/kg.

Variants
If you're picking the Alto K10 then it is made available in four variants - Std, Lxi, Vxi and Vxi Plus. However, we believe that the Maruti Alto K10 CNG will be offered in two trims - Lxi and Vxi.
Features
We can expect the CNG variant of the upcoming Alto K10 to be equipped with features such as power steering, AC, two speakers, internally adjustable ORVMs, front power windows, a smart play dock with BT and AUX-in connectivity, a digital speedometer and more.
Safety Equipment
Safety features like an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, speed sensing door locks, central door locking, high-speed alert system, rear parking sensors, dual-front airbags and more will be seen on the upcoming Alto K10 CNG.

Price
As far as the prices are concerned then do expect a hike of Rs 90,000 over the regular petrol versions. The Lxi trim is priced at Rs 4.82 lakh whereas the Vxi is priced at Rs 4.99 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi. We can expect the CNG-powered Alto K10 to debut by early next year.
