Citroen marked its entry in the Indian market with the C5 Aircross and now deliveries for the same has already begun. The bookings have crossed 1000 units hinting at the interest of the buyers in the premium SUV. Citroen C5 Aircross is priced at Rs 29.90 for the Feel variant and the Shine variant costs Rs 31.90 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.
Let us go through the engine specification first - it gets a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, BS6 compliant turbocharged diesel engine. It churns out 177 PS of power at 3750 RPM with a peak torque of 400 Nm at 2000 RPM. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission which then gets two driving modes - Eco, Normal and Sports. One also gets paddle shifters which further brings the control of your vehicle into your hands.
To further enhance the driving experience, Citroen C5 Aircross is equipped with Grip control and gets five different modes namely - Sand, Snow, Standard, Traction control off and All-terrain. The all-terrain is equipped to handle mud, grass and damp road surfaces easily. The ARAI certified mileage of the C5 Aircross sticks to 18.6 kmpl.

Dimension-wise, the Citroen C5 Aircross measures 4,500 mm in length, 2,099 mm in width and 1710 mm in height. The wheelbase sticks to 2730 mm which is bigger than its rival Hyundai Tucson and Jeep Compass. The boot space too is measured at 590 litres which is the largest in the segment.
As said above, the Citroen C5 Aircross comes in two variants - Feel and Shine which further gets the dual-tone treatment of their own. The top-spec variant gets foot trigger boot opening, a panoramic sunroof and LED projector headlights.

Both the variants feature an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also gets dual-zone automatic climate control, electrically adjustable driver's seat, 12.3-inch MID display, mood lighting and three adjustable rear seats which offer to slide, folding and reclining as functions.
