Better Design
Although the new crossover is based on Baleno, the overall appearance of Fronx is distinctive and eye-catching. The front-end design has tri-slated LED DRLs and tri-LED headlights, giving it the appearance of Grand Vitara. Additionally, the front and back shoulder body lines appear muscular. Customers will definitely adore the new alloy wheels' diamond-cut butterfly wing appearance. The Fronx appears extremely different from the Baleno from the rear. All thanks to the new LED stoplight bar on the boot lid and tri-slated LED taillights.
Turbo Petrol Engine
With the Fronx, Maruti Suzuki has brought back the 1.0-liter booster jet turbo petrol engine. There are two different engine choices for the Fronx. The first is a 1.0-liter booster jet engine, while the second is the same 1.2-liter engine that is available in the Baleno as well. In comparison to the 1.2-litre engine on the Baleno, the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine produces more power and torque. In comparison, the latter produces 89 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque, while the former delivers 100 bhp and 148 Nm of peak power. Additionally, the 1.0-liter variant of the turbo petrol engine now has a 6-speed AT transmission option. The Fronx is outfitted by Maruti with economical and frugal engine options.
More Features
The Fronx will sit above the Baleno in brand's lineup and in order to make it a superior offering, Maruti has added some more features in the Fronx. Over the Baleno, the Fronx gets features like wireless charging, paddle shifters (automatic only), wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. These are some of the features which are not available in the Baleno and if we talk about the wireless connectivity it is available in the top spec variants of Baleno with OTA update. Other features are more or less same in both variants.

Better Safety Features
Comparing the Fronx to the Baleno, there are a few extra safety features available. The Maruti Suzuki Fronx comes standard with electronic stability programme (ESP), hill hold assist, and all five ELR three point seat belts. However, the Baleno only receives four ELR seatbelts and ESP with hill assist in automatic models.
Verdict: Despite having a similar style to the Baleno, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx has a number of unique features and design aspects of its own. Compared to the Baleno, the Fronx appears considerably bolder and stronger. The cherry on top is the availability of a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine, which is unquestionably an option for consumers seeking for a cost-effective and frugal engine.
