The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is one of the most talked-about electric offerings in the Indian market and will soon make its Indian debut in the coming months. The Korean carmaker recently introduced a facelift model of the new Ioniq 5 that now comes with a number of updates made to the design as well as the powertrain. The European-spec model, which is expected to make it to the Indian shores, now offers an improved range, all thanks to a larger battery pack. For starters, the new Ioniq 5 features a number of new features and a larger battery pack that offers a longer range on a single charge. The new 77.4 kWh battery pack offers a range of around 500 km as against the 460 km offered by the 72.6 kWh battery pack earlier. The same iteration of this electric SUV is expected to be offered in the Indian market.

The Korean carmaker is however yet to reveal the official launch timeline for the Hyundai Ioniq 5 in the Indian market. Likewise, the official specs too are yet to be revealed. The Ioniq 5 features a modern and sharp design language that helps it impress each one of us with its looks. The car also happens to be the first Hyundai car to be based on the Electric Modular Platform (E-GMP).
