Mahindra has unveiled a bunch of cars at the Auto Expo and they aim to promote electrification. With their new mHawk Diesel engines and mSTALLION T-GDI petrol engines unveiled, they also showcased some concepts of the electric world as well.
One of them was the Mahindra eXUV300. The overall silhouette remains the same as the IC counterpart and it sits on the Tivoli platform. Mahindra claims eXUV300 to be the safest EV available in India. A few days back, Mahindra XUV300 scored 5 stars and highest adult and child rating in Global NCAP crash test. Moving to the exterior design, it gets differently designed Crystal LED headlights and the grille is flat with no air intakes.

The side profile looks sleek thanks to the slim futuristic-looking camera in place of ORVMs. However, it is not confirmed whether they will make their way in production form or not! The alloy wheels are also garnished with some blue accents. The rear profile is completely changed from its IC counterpart. This features slimmer Crystal LED taillamps with blue inserts. The lower half of the bumper also gets blue highlights to uplift the EV stance.

Moving to the interior, although we weren't allowed to access them, gets a big free standing touchscreen infotainment system and we expect it to get connected car tech just like the eKUV100. Rest of the cabin remains more or less the same as the normal XUV300. Mahindra eXUV300 also gets a sturdy gear lever instead of any rotary dial like other EVs in the market.
It has been showcased in its concept form and actual power and battery information haven't been shared yet. We expect it to offer a range of around 300 kilometres and it will be targeted towards Nexon EV. The launch might take place early next year.
