At present, Maruti Suzuki provides the Swift in four variants LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi Plus, catering to both petrol and CNG powertrains. Among these, the VXi, ZXi, VXi CNG, ZXi Plus, ZXi Plus dual-tone, and ZXi CNG variants are subject to a consistent price increase of Rs. 5,000, while the prices for all other variants remain unaffected. It currently locks horns with the likes of Tata Tiago and Grand i10 NIOS.

Powertrain
Swift is exclusively available with a petrol engine. However, customers also have the option to choose a CNG variant of the Swift. Meanwhile, Swift adheres to the current emission norms and is equipped with a 1.2-liter petrol engine that delivers 89bhp of power and 113Nm of torque.
2024 Swift Facelift Debuts Globally; Indian Launch Soon
Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for the launch of the all-new Swift in India. Internally codenamed Maruti YED, the upcoming Swift is currently undergoing road tests, with production expected to start next month. The Indian version will feature Suzuki's latest Z12 engine, a 1.2-liter petrol unit with anticipated mild-hybrid technology to comply with emissions regulations.
