Corner Rascal Capabilities With Dual-Motor AWD; Rally-Inspired Handling
The IONIQ 5 N elevates the driving experience with its remarkable Corner Rascal capabilities, incorporating enhancements in body structure, steering, and pedal systems for a thrilling driving experience. The reinforced steering column, equipped with the N R-MDPS system, provides precise control, offering improved steering response and feedback. The body structure gains 42 additional welding points and extra adhesives for enhanced rigidity, while motor and battery mounting are strengthened to withstand higher electric motor torque. World Rally Championship-inspired drive axles, along with N Pedal software, contribute to responsive handling, mimicking characteristics of an internal combustion engine. Furthermore, N Torque Distribution system, electronic limited-slip differential, and 21-inch forged aluminum wheels further optimize cornering performance and control.

At the heart of IONIQ 5 N are high-powered electric motors, reaching 21,000 RPM and delivering an impressive 478 kW / 650 PS of power. The N Grin Boost feature adds a brief power surge for exhilarating acceleration. Moreover, the N Launch Control ensures rapid starts, and Track SOC calculates battery consumption per lap for efficient track management. The advanced battery thermal management system resists power degradation due to heat, maintaining consistent performance. Meanwhile, the N Race feature offers drivers energy management control, choosing between 'Sprint' and 'Endurance' modes. N-tuned Brakes, with 400mm front discs and 360mm rear discs, ensure top-notch braking performance, while N Brake Regen sets a new standard for regenerative braking with exceptional deceleration force of up to 0.6 G.
