Maruti Baleno Facelift Caught on Tape, Reveals New DRLs

The upcoming Maruti Baleno facelift has been spotted testing with new dual arrow-shaped LED DRLs for the second time. The spy footage gives a quick glimpse of the refreshed car's dual arrow-shaped LED DRLs. Though the video is not very clear, it is good enough to show that the front-end of the upcoming facelift would definitely carry a new fascia for enhanced visual appeal. The LED DRLs are expected to be incorporated into a new pair of headlamps, most likely LED projector units for a better vision day and night.

Not only the dual arrow-shaped LED DRLs have been updated but also the new Maruti Baleno facelift would even feature a redesigned front grille and a new bumper as well. The design of the bonnet of the updated premium hatchback would also be revised for a much sportier look. The testing vehicle spotted has been spied wearing heavy camouflage and, thus, it is quite tough to say what other changes can be spotted in the upcoming Baleno.

So far, the spy shots that have surfaced on the web have given us a look at the new Maruti Baleno facelift from the back as well as the side. The new car is expected to come equipped with a set of new alloy wheels fitted with Apollo tyres, a roof-mounted rear spoiler, and ORVMs with integrated LED turn signals. The rear bumper and the taillights of the updated premium hatchback would also be tweaked slightly.

It is anticipated that the refreshed Baleno's production-ready model of the upcoming car would have an all-new setup for the instrument cluster. It would be interesting to see whether Maruti Suzuki goes for a fully digital unit or a semi-digital setup. Some of the other features that we can expect to find in the new Baleno's interior include updated upholstery, new trim, wireless smartphone charger, contrasting highlights, electrically adjustable ORVMs, keyless entry, engine start/stop button, and more.

There is very little possibility of an upgrade in the powertrains or the transmissions, which means the two 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated options that are currently available would be carried over.
