Hyundai is extensively testing the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N-Line n the track of Nurburgring, Germany. This is the first N-Line iteration for any electric vehicle from a South Korean manufacturer. For reference, the N-Line is the more performance-oriented version of the regular Hyundai vehicles. Currently. the N-Line is available with the Venue, i20, while the same for Verna is currently under testing for the local market.
Let's jump straight into the electric crossover's N-Line details.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 N-Line- What's Update?
The N-Line attachment means performance. As a part of this upgrade, it gets specific hardware updates. Since it involves a higher level of performance, this version gets bigger 400 mm disc brakes and also better thermal management. It gets a bigger cooling area to disperse the heat generated.
It also gets new N-specific radiator packaging, a new motor oil cooler, and a battery chiller. All of these will be managed by new heat management systems called N Battery Preconditioning and N Race. The former will help optimize battery temperature and will get two modes Drag and Track. The N Race will also have two modes Sprint and Endurance that will alter the way power is delivered to limit temperature build-up.

Features
The Ioniq 5 N will come with N Active Sound + that will have a 10-speaker system with eight internal speakers and two external speakers. But not for what you think. These speakers are there to imitate the grunts of internal combustion engines, electric vehicles, and fighter jets using three sound themes called Ignition, Evolution, and Supersonic, respectively. This has more to do with the lack of driving feel in the EVs. No more complaints.
But that's still not all. These themes will each simulate the 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine on the ICE N cars, an electric sound inspired by the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo Concept and RN22e, and the sound of a fighter jet. Wait, there's even more, the N e-shift system will complement the N Active Sound to simulate the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission of its ICE N cars.
Global Unveil On July 13th
The Hyundai Ioniq N-Line is slated for a global unveil on 13th July at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, UK. The carmaker has already tested the vehicle for 10,000 km and will put it through another 10,000 km of testing before getting it into production.
VERDICT- The performance testing is going on and the global unveil will take place on the 13th. With a lot of new things coming up with the N-Line Ioniq 5, it will be an all-new experience for buyers.
