The Ioniq 5, Hyundai Motor India Limited's (HMIL) flagship electric SUV, is all set to make its debut in January. A few days ago, the company announced the electric SUV's booking date. Now, the brand has revealed the SUV's safety features. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 SUV will include Level 2 ADAS capabilities from Hyundai SmartSense. The Ioniq 5 will provide a smart and easy-to-use driving experience with its 21 Level 2 ADAS capabilities.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 ADAS Features
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 boasts the brand's E-GMP platform. The Ioniq 5 will be the second SUV from the manufacturer with ADAS in India. Hyundai SmartSense utilises technology including front radars, front cameras, and rear radars to identify and reduce the likelihood of collisions, providing the driver with sufficient forewarning and, if necessary, automatically implementing countermeasures to lessen an impact. With the latest ADAS technologies like Safe Exit Assist (SEA), which reduces the risk of crashes with vehicles on the rear side when departing, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 will provide the highest level of care.

The other driving assistance features of the SUV will also include Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM),Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Safe Exit Warning and other safety features. With Level 2 ADAS technologies like Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Following Assist, High Beam Assist, and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 enables you to get the most out of every drive.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 even has technologies like Rear Occupant Alert (ROA). It will also get Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Surround View Monitor, and Rear Occupant Alert are some of the parking safety features that the Hyundai Ioniq 5 will include.
Verdict: In the Indian market, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 will serve as the brand's flagship electric SUV. The EV will be able to provide its customers a dynamic user experience as well as better safety. The cost is anticipated to be between Rs. 50 and Rs. 55 lakh (ex-showroom).
