With the rising trend of SUVs in the Indian market, the sunroof is the most demanded feature. Well, technically a sunroof is not apt for the weather conditions here in India but it does add to the premiumness in the cabin and makes you look rich. So we will be sharing you a list of compact SUVs starting from Tata Nexon to the recently launched Kia Sonet which gets an electric sunroof as standard equipment.

Tata Nexon
This compact SUV from Tata is one of the most affordable ones which comes with an electric sunroof. The XM(S) variant which sticks with Rs 8.37 lakh for the 1.2L turbo petrol and in its diesel form the price stick to Rs 9.70 lakh for the same variant. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.

Tata Nexon is also one of the safest compact SUVs in its segment as it gets Global NCAP rating of 5 stars. It comes with as much as 36 variants and offers a manual gearbox as standard while AMT is an optional choice.
Hyundai Venue
Second best SUV to offer an electrical sunroof is the Hyundai Venue. Launched in 2019, this compact SUV was the first to bring connected car technology. The sunroof equipped SX variant starts from Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
This compact SUV is available in three engine options - 1 2L naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5L turbo diesel and a more powerful 1.0L turbo petrol. The latter is more in demand. The 1.2L petrol gets 5-speed manual stick shift and the diesel gets a 6-speed manual unit. The 1.0L turbo petrol gets 6-speed manual as standard and 7-speed DCT for higher variants. It also gets an iMT gearbox.
Kia Sonet
Hyundai Venue's cousin, the Sonet was launched a few days back and it has gained quite its market. The sunroof equipped HTX variant costs Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The Sonet uses the same engine as the Venue but the top of the line diesel automatic gets a more powerful diesel motor which is seen in the Seltos too. This motor comes with a 6-speed AT unit and churns out 113 bhp with a peak torque of 250 Nm. The Sonet comes with as many as 24 first in segment features.

Ford Ecosport
Ford Ecosport started the trend of the compact SUVs, and this no nonsense car gets sunroof in the Titanium+ variant. It is priced at an ex-showroom, Delhi cost of Rs 10.67 lakh. It gets a 1.5L petrol and diesel engine option. Even though the Ecosport is the oldest of the lot, it still looks fresh and the diesel engine is really reliable.
Mahindra XUV300
The most underrated compact SUV at this time and also the safest in its segment, the XUV300 offers an electric sunroof with the W8(O) variant. The XUV300 offers the best driving experience and torque like no other SUV in its segment. Also, Mahindra is planning to launch a more powerful petrol version of the XUV300 which will make close to 130 bhp in future. It will take on the likes of the Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet.
