Toyota Fortuner is no doubt one of the popular SUVs in the Indian market ever since it was launched. With the second generation of Toyota Fortuner debut in 2016, it is long due for a facelift. And the same has been spied in the international markets.

The spied images of the Toyota Fortuner Facelift shows brisk changes sticking to the exteriors. The front profile now sees a new grille design which is blacked out. It makes for an aggressive approach. Then the headlights are tweaked and so are the faux air intakes which get a triangular shape.
The rear profile will see a new bumper and reworked design on the LED taillights and among others. We can expect to see a different set of alloy wheels on this facelifted Fortuner.
As for the interiors then we can see the addition of new features and a new infotainment system. Like its rival, Ford Endeavour which gets a large panoramic sunroof and powered tailgate, the facelifted Fortuner might give these features a miss.

Under the hood, Toyota Fortuner will get the same 2.7-litre petrol and 2.8-litre diesel engines. Both the engine offers a 6-speed manual and an automatic transmission. The petrol churns out 164 bhp with 245 Nm torque and the diesel makes 174 bhp with 450 Nm of peak torque. The latter is also available with 4x4 mode.
The prices of the facelifted version will see an increase once launched in India. It is currently priced at Rs 28.21 lakh for the base trim while the top-spec model fetches till Rs 33.98 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. When launched, it will compete with Skoda Kodiaq, Mahindra Alturas G4, Ford Endeavour and Volkswagen Tiguan All-Space.
