Maruti Suzuki E Vitara Latest Update

Last Updated on 5th Nov'24: Suzuki Motor Corporation has finally unveiled its first Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) the Suzuki e Vitara in Milan. The brand has changed the name of the Suzuki eVX and the production-spec model will be called the Suzuki e Vitara. The Suzuki e Vitara will enter production in the Spring of 2025 and the brand will start the sale of the EV in India in the Summer of 2025. 

Powertrain: The newly unveiled e Vitara will come with a 49 kWh and a 61 kWh battery pack. The smaller battery pack version will be available in a 2WD drivetrain option while the bigger 61 kWh battery pack will be offered with both 2WD & 4WD drivetrains. 

Power & Torque: The smaller 49 kWh battery pack offers a peak power of 106 kW and 189 Nm of peak torque. However, the bigger 61 kWh battery pack offers a maximum output of 128 kW for the 2WD drivetrain and the 4WD offers 135 kW of power. The torque output is similar to the smaller battery pack version.

Dimensions: The Suzuki e Vitara measures 4,275 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height. It boasts a wheelbase of 2,700 mm and a turning radius of 5.2 metre.
